Can I keep BioGaia at room temperature?
Before opening, room temperature storage is perfectly fine. Simply keep below 30°C, away from direct heat and sunlight.
Once opened, refrigeration is recommended — even though BioGaia's built-in LongevityGuard™ technology continues to protect the bacteria from humidity at room temperature for up to three months after opening. Refrigeration simply gives the live cultures the best conditions to stay potent through to the last dose.
For chewable tablets and Prodentis lozenges, no refrigeration is needed — before or after opening. Store in a cool, dry place below 30°C, away from direct heat and sunlight.
