How To Give BioGaia?

Feeding instruction:

Original Baby Drops / Drops with Vitamin D3

We strongly recommend giving BioGaia Protectis baby drops by spoon. If considering alternative ways of distribution, the following should be noted.

Drops can be given before or after meal at any time of the day.

**L. reuteri Protectis is sensitive to microwaves and temperatures above 50 °C. It will reduce the efficacy of L. reuteri Protectis.

Protectis Powder

Tear off one sachet and open where indicated by the arrow. The powder can be mixed with breast milk, formulated milk, water or sprinkled on food or pour directly into mouth.

With water or other liquids

Use cold or lukewarm liquid.
Use a small volume to ensure full dose is consumed.
Consume within 10 minutes.
Do not mix with juice or soft drinks.

With breast milk or infant formula in bottle

Add to lukewarm formula, 37-40 °C.
Consume directly – Use a small volume to ensure full dose is consumed.

**L. reuteri Protectis is sensitive to microwaves and temperatures above 50 °C. It will reduce the efficacy of L. reuteri Protectis.

Chewable Tablet

Constipation : take twice a day and revert to one a day when bowel normalized. Suitable for 3 years old, adults and elderlies.

Prodentis

For first time user boost by chewing lozenge twice a day after brushing in the morning and before bedtime. After that maintain with one a day, unless advised otherwise by your care provider.

Directly into the baby’s mouth

Avoid contact between skin and saliva and the opening of the bottle/tube.

**Contact with skin or saliva may ruin of the quality of the product, due to risk of contamination. As the drops do not form instantly, it may be di cult to keep the mouth of the baby open long enough. When given directly into the mouth, there is a risk that the baby does not get the full dose. If by accident the drops end up in the eye, chin or nose of the baby, it will not cause harm.

On pacifier

Secure that the drops do not “fall-off”.
Avoid contact between the pacifier and the opening of the bottle/tube.
