CFU stands for Colony Forming Units — the count of live, active bacteria in each dose. Every drop of BioGaia delivers a minimum of 100 million live L. reuteri, and LongevityGuard™ ensures that count is maintained from the first dose to the last.
Does moisture affect probiotics?
Yes, significantly. When good bacteria are exposed to even small amounts of humidity, they can become inactive and lose their potency over time. This may reduce the number of live bacteria that reach the gut and provide their intended benefits.
Does heat affect probiotics the same way as moisture?

How long do probiotics stay effective after opening?
